The following are some of the many haunted railroad stations, bridges, tunnels, tracks, and other sites with railroad-related stories. Though I try my best to uncover the full history behind the railroads, accidents, and ghost stories, I may have missed important details. If you have additional information or historical photographs/illustrations, please contact me.

Please remember: If you decide to visit any existing railroad tracks for paranormal activity, make sure the line is inactive before venturing onto the tracks. NEVER wander on active railroad tracks at night. The right-of-way is considered private property. If you are looking for a "ghost train", observe it from a safe distance.
