History:
After moving to its present location in 1954, Cafe LaFitte in Exile is one of (if not the) oldest gay bars in the United States.
Hauntings:
Several notable spirits haunt the two-story establishment. Both playwright Tennessee Williams and author Truman Capote are occasionally spotted on the first floow while a former patron also makes his presence known. Figures have been witnessed on the balcony before disappearing into thin air.
