Stan Hywet Hall

North Portage Path, Akron

The Siberling's impressive Tudor mansion has overlooked the Cuyahoga Valley for almost 100 years. Its imposing appearance plays in to its infamous ghost.

Stan Hywet's 'Lady in Gray' did not die on the property. Her spirit came across the Atlantic from England, attached to furnishings purchased by F.A. Siberling and New York interior decorator Hugo F. Huber for the Siberling's bedroom. Her spirit has been seen by several visitors and employees over the years.
