"...a very interesting and beautifully designed book which
covers a very under-covered part of the state!"
― Chris Woodyard, author of the Haunted Ohio
series
Haunted Cuyahoga: Spirits of the Valley was the
first-ever collection of over 40 stories from the crooked river and its
surrounding hills. It was published by the author and featured in the "Book Talk"
section of the Akron Beacon Journal on February 25, 2007. (A
few copies are still available through local libraries and for purchase at
Invisible Ink.)
Unfortunately, there are many errors in various historical accounts. It
was more of a book retelling legends instead of accurate information.
COMING SOON!
Ken Summers and Jeri Holland are currently writing a different version of the book,
tentatively titled Haunted Cuyahoga Valley, for release in
September 2012 through The
History Press. This new book will feature corrected histories,
dozens of photographs, and many
additional locations uncovered since that time. More information will be provided
when details are finalized.
